Privacy Policy
Last updated: 14 August 2026. This policy explains what happens to data when you use InstaSaver.
What we collect
- The Instagram URL you submit, held only for the length of the request and a short cache window.
- Standard server logs: IP address, timestamp, user agent and requested path.
- Aggregate analytics, if enabled, in a form that does not identify individuals.
What we do not collect
- No Instagram credentials — we never ask for them.
- No account registration, so no name or email unless you write to us.
- No permanent record linking downloads to a person.
Cookies
The site itself sets no tracking cookies. If advertising or analytics is enabled on a deployment, those providers may set their own; a consent notice is shown where the law requires it.
Retention
Resolved post metadata is cached briefly to reduce load and then deleted. Server logs rotate on a short cycle. Media files are streamed through, never stored on our disk.
Third parties
Requests are made to Instagram’s own servers to resolve a post, and media is delivered from Instagram’s CDN. Your hosting provider and any CDN in front of the site process traffic under their own policies.
Your rights
Because we hold no account data, there is normally nothing to export or erase. For requests about server logs, write to support@example.com.
